Many suffering from cancer have consulted with Mr. Rabinowicz over the years which is why he developed a strong interest in finding effective solutions including studying conventional medicine in order to have a better understanding of pathology, physiology and pharmacology, etc. Mr. Rabinowicz spent time in hospital wards to get a true “behind the scenes” look at what conventional medicine is all about.

Part of Mr. Rabinowcz's training was in Family Medicine which included clinical rotation with one physician who was voted as one of NY’s best physicians.  Due to Mr. Rabinowcz's long relationship and this physician, and his expertise in “alternative medicine”, Mr. Rabinowcz is frequently consulted on difficult cases where conventional treatments have had poor results.

As a health practitioner Mr. Rabinowcz enjoys educating people about health care choices and alternatives that do not involve drugs or surgery. Although medication and surgery is standard in today’s medicine, they are not always successful and can often cause severe side effects. In recent years therapies such as herbs have been extensively studied even though they have been effectively used in many parts of the world for thousands of years. In addition to herbs, Mr. Rabinowcz uses other effective modalities having scientific backing for improving health. These include the use of various vitamins, massage techniques, hypnosis and visualization, meditation, electromagnetic stimulation, exercise and vibrational medicine. Many of these approaches have been researched through recent years resulting in very positive findings in their efficacy with millions of people world-wide.

Mr. Rabinowcz understands challenges faced in today field of medicine. Often, when patients read studies on non-traditional modalities having positive results then questions their physician they are not able to get an acceptable response. Today, physicians have very little time in furthering their education therefore is unable to converse with their patient on the specific subject matter, yet eagerly writes prescriptions which could cause harm. In a recently advertisement from a drug company for a supposedly “great new drug”, the ad stated the drug “could have life threatening” side effects.  Sadly drug companies ring up billions of dollars in sales until the FDA decides it is just too dangerous and removes the drug from the marketplace… something the FDA should not have allowed in the beginning as proven recently in court where it was proven that the FDA had deliberately disseminated false information regarding the safety and efficacy of some drugs.

In a recent interview, a highly respected oncologist described the business of chemotherapy where doctors are often not allowed to sell drugs and various services because they might be pushing these on patients and end up making money on the patients’ treatments.  However, in oncology, a different set of rules exist. The doctors can “give” (sell) chemotherapy to their patients on which they make a significant profit and they have no obligation to disclose this fact. Frequently, these drugs are not even proven to be effective, but as long as they follow “established” protocols, “it’s ok”

Mr. Rabinowcz chooses a very different approach. When asked for advice, he collects conducts a thorough investigation including an extensive medical history of the client including latest medical test results, often suggesting getting additional tests for a more comprehensive picture. Based upon all the information Mr. Rabinowcz is then able to develop a complete plan of action.
