Case Studies from Leading Practitioners
Cases Studies found on these pages are based on actual cases where doctors and/or practitioners have documented results found in their clinic or practice. Below are just a few found in my clinic.
“John” a 34-year old male, who was severely depressed, anxious and having some psychotic episodes. These problems had surfaced 2 years earlier and were progressively getting worse. Although he was on psychiatric medications, he had stopped taking the anti-depressant due to its side effects. He was not able to complete the intake form but I was able to get his history verbally from his mother. I discussed his diet and how changes in the diet affected his mood. Previously, he was on a vegan diet and although his symptoms improved, he eventually “crashed” and his situation declined. My first step was to get him to improve his nutrition and gave specific recommendations of what nutrients to take. The next step was to have his neurotransmitters (NT) and hormone levels tested. Of the 24 results, only 4 were normal; 7 were extremely high, 3 were very low, 5 were low and 5 others were high. After some discussion with other specialists, we decided on a regimen of nutriments to help normalize and balance these levels.
For another client, I used pulsed electromagnetic frequencies (PEMF) to help reduce and eliminate many of her symptoms. PEMF is now being extensively studied as it has very broad applicability. While working with a physician we carried out our own studies on its effectiveness. One of his patients, an 84 YO male, long time smoker and diabetic with an horrific non-healing wound in his heel. He had had surgery on the leg to replace some of his veins and thus try to improve the circulation but it was not very effective. After twice daily treatments over a period of 4 weeks, his circulation improved dramatically, the wound was showing new tissue growth and the leg was warmer to the touch; all very positive signs. When the doctor discussed these results with a colleague (who is a surgeon), he just scoffed and told him to “stop telling fairy tales.”
In another case, I had a friend who is grossly overweight and had a foot injury that was very painful especially while walking. I used low-level electro stimulation on the foot and also on other parts of the leg, which reduced both the pain and swelling significantly. The electro stimulation is similar to PEMF in that both stimulate the cells to self-heal. I find the electro-stimulation to be fast acting on surface type of acute pain. PEMF, takes longer to be effective but is longer lasting, works well in chronic cases, and is able to affect nerves, musculature and internal organs. Both are effective for fractures and wounds.
PEMF is also effective for depression and anxiety as they have a relaxing effect on the nerves and can help stimulate the production and balancing of NT and hormones. I used PEMF for one client in addition to other recommendations, and the results are very satisfying, her self-confidence has increased, and she is definitely more joyful.
Because PEMF has a broad based healing capability by working at the cellular level, it has been used for people with nerve damage, cerebrovascular events (stroke, Parkinson’s, dementia) with varying results. Recently, trials of nano-pulsed frequencies have been used for tumor ablation. Other trials have been used for cases of extreme depression (these are termed transcranial magnetic stimulation and used fairly simple electromagnetic coils.)
A fairly effective approach to Parkinson’s is for a physician to infuse the patient with certain nutrients via an IV which can have very dramatic effects. There are also some excellent topical creams I use with many of these nutrients which are also useful for long term purposes.
One individual who came to see me had metastasized cancer and was interested in primarily using nutritional and natural approaches. I recommended a physician who provides IV nutrient infusions including high dose vitamin C. Because I do extensive research, I was able to advise the physician on additions to the IV that would be very effective. I also gave the client multiple PEMF treatments. After about 2 weeks of this approach, his oncologist noted (with surprise) that the lymph node had shrunk by at least 1 cm.
These are some examples of how various conditions can be positively affected by a non-conventional approach. Other conditions include diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, hepatitis, dementia, allergies, pain, wound-healing, Parkinson’s, and cancer.
